Here it is, the very first Filthy Lies comic. Oy! It's an ugly, ugly little comic, isn't it? This was made while I was still trying to figure out how to digitally produce a comic strip. I switched quickly to Flash for vector art and it turned out much better. Keep reading. It gets better looking faster!

Update :
I added a "new" version of it done in vector art and set it up so you can see them both. Things I learned while redrawing this :

I drew the characters way smaller back then!
I put way more effort into the couch on that first strip than I ever have again.
Holy crap! They had a lamp!
I know know why Doonesbury caricatures politicians with symbols.
