Well well. 250 strips. DAMN that's a lot of strips. When I started this comic, I TOTALLY didn't expect to be doing it for that long. I was doing another comic, Silly Cone V, at the time and I just wanted to try something new. So I tried to make it a LOT different than my other comic.

For instance, SCV was hand-drawn. FL is entirely digitially produced. SCV was at least MOSTLY safe for all ages. FL is extremely offensive and shouldn't be viewed by anybody. SCV was entirely storyline driven. And I mean ENTIRELY storyline driven. The comic ran almost 4 years, mostly daily, and I didn't even get to the end of the over-riding storyarc I started with. Filthy Lies is pretty limited in storyline. There are a few things you probably ought to know (like what the hell is beefsteak?) but by in large, strips stand on their own or are part of a short story arc.

So Filthy Lies started as an experiment, and has become much more than that to me. And I hope you readers enjoy it a bit, too.

So let's celebrate the 250th strip! How? By inflicting it on your friends! Or by posting in the forum! Maybe by sending me threats in my e-mail box! Perhaps by purchasing something at the store! Or by drinking beer until you think your Mom looks hot! Whatever! I'm happy to have made it here, and happy you guys are along for the trip.
